Stack3d is taking a major step forward in advanced composites manufacturing through our partnership with CEAD Group and the integration of CEAD’s Flexbot system into our production facility.

The Flexbot is a large-format additive manufacturing platform built for high-performance composite applications. With this addition, Stack3d is scaling advanced composite manufacturing while accelerating materials development, process innovation, and hybrid manufacturing workflows.

Unlike most additive manufacturing companies that specialize in only one step of the process, Stack3d does it all in house. Many production delays begin with handoffs between vendors. At Stack3d, material development, feedstock creation, design, and full-scale large-format printing all happen under one roof. This level of integration allows for faster decisions, tighter quality control, and parts that perform in real-world applications.

This investment also strengthens Stack3d’s role as a regional hub for large-format additive manufacturing and digital composites. The Flexbot enables hybrid manufacturing approaches that combine additive, subtractive, and finishing processes, unlocking greater design freedom and improved part performance across industries.
